Pastor Brian and Susan Jenkins
Pastor Brian and his wife, Susan, came to Calvary on Easter of 2009. They have been fully invested in the church and community since that time, serving on various civic boards and leading the Minister's Association of Eastern Randolph County. Previously Brian pastored in the towns of Crandall and Cambridge City for the Indiana District Assemblies of God.
Pastor Brian trained for ministry in Texas under Pastor Wayne Biggs at Living Word in Manisfield, Texas. While living, working, and attending church there he met and married Susan. Upon receiving his ministry credentials he and his wife moved to Indiana (Brian's home state) in 1985 and founded Life in Jesus Ministries, an evangelistic ministry serving Southern Indiana and North Central Kentucky.
Pastor Brian became the pastor of Household of Faith in 1988 and brought the church into the Assemblies of God fellowship, where he then transferred his licensing. In 2003 they moved to Cambridge City, Indiana and began pastoring The River (now called Life Connections) until he received the call to come to Union City, where he and his wife have served for 15 years.
They have two grown sons, Phillip and Stephen. Phillip runs his own IT business and graduated from Purdue in West Lafayette, Indiana. Stephen helps in the Media Department at Calvary and graduated from Central Bible College in Springfield, Missouri.
